Jordan Pond House Restaurant

The dining traditions of the Jordan Pond House date back to the late 1800's.
During that era teahouses were established to cater to the growing nmber of sophisticated summer visitors.  Today, Jordan Pond House continues these dining traditions featuring our famous baked popovers, homemade ice cream, rich lobster stew, freshly squeezed lemonade,  and Maine seafood.  We had to stop in for the popovers.

Our favorite place to eat.  They have their own fishing boat and serve until the catch is  gone.  Fish and fries in any combination is the choice.

Boothbay Harbor, Maine

Cap'n Fish's Scenic Boat Tours on the 'Island Lady'
Of all their trips, this may be Cap'n Fish's favorite with its close-to-shore cruising.  On this cruise we saw Lighthouses, water front homes, seals sunbathing on the rocks, a busy harbor, old fishing villages and osprey and their unusual nests.
