Jordan Pond House Restaurant

The dining traditions of the Jordan Pond House date back to the late 1800's.
During that era teahouses were established to cater to the growing nmber of sophisticated summer visitors.  Today, Jordan Pond House continues these dining traditions featuring our famous baked popovers, homemade ice cream, rich lobster stew, freshly squeezed lemonade,  and Maine seafood.  We had to stop in for the popovers.

Wildwood Stables, located next to the picturesque Park Loop Road in Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island, Maine, provides a variety of daily horse-drawn carriage tours. Tours follow the famous and scenic carriage roads that were originally constructed by John D. Rockefeller between 1913 and 1940.  Here is our group.
