Taos, New Mexico

Our first stop in Taos was an arts and crafts fair going on with lots of different crafts and of course jewelry by local artisans.  Below is a flute maker, self taught and amplified.  Started to come home with a flute but better judgement finally took over plus they were several hundred dollars each.

Next stop is what we do best.  An interesting and colorful little mexican restaurant. Good choice, the food was great.

Next we visited the square and found some interesting art work.

Some of our group went north of town to see the Rio Grande Bridge.

On the way back they found a housing addition composed of recycled bottles, tires and cans.  They were powered by solar panels.

Interesting huh!  Price on these, several hundred thousand.
