Our Lady of Fatima Church - Chinle, Arizona

We visited a catholic church in Chinle.  The preist talked to us about building the church a the church history.  He explained how he was able to fit the catholic religion in with some of the Indian beliefs.

Here is some of the carvings in the church.  The priest explained each one of them but I wasn't taking notes.

Interesting that beginning of the mass, a Navajo prayer is offered in the Navajo language.
